About the Founders

The Anything is Possible 5K Series was founded and is operated by Bob Fleshner, Eric Lerude and Mark Vescio.

Bob Fleshner is the founder and race director of the American Odyssey Relay Run Adventure (AOR). First run in 2009, the AOR immediately became a fixture on the mid-Atlantic running circuit. The AOR is known for the beauty of its course which includes the battlefields of Gettysburg and Antietam, the farmlands and state forests of southern PA and the monuments of Washington, DC.

Eric Lerude is the founder of the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run Adventure (RTO), one of the most successful overnight relay races in the country. Founded in 2005, the RTO traverses Nevada and California for 178 miles. The race has grown in size every year of its existence and has a very loyal following of runners who return every year.

Mark Vescio is a race director in the Atlanta region. In addition to directing the Southern Odyssey Relay Run Adventure, Mark directs a number of other races under the Locomotive Series banner. His races range in size from 5K to half marathon.
